Play Days
Colorado Earthdogs Inc. Play Days are events designed to provide dogs with opportunities to engage in activities that stimulate their natural behaviors and instincts. We welcome all dogs to Play Days. Many of our events involve activities and challenges tailored to the instincts of small terriers (15 inches and under), which were historically bred for hunting small game like rodents and rabbits underground, but we now have events for big dogs too!
Your dogs will have the chance to participate in activities such as tunneling, scent work, and obstacle courses – we call it Junk Yard Dawg. These activities not only provide physical exercise but also mental stimulation, as dogs use their senses and problem-solving skills to navigate obstacles. Earthdog can be both recreational and competitive. At our Play Days, dogs and their owners participate in activities at their own pace, enjoying the bonding experience and the opportunity for their dogs to engage in natural behaviors.
Our Play Days provide a supportive community where dog enthusiasts can come together to share knowledge, experiences, and camaraderie. It’s a wonderful way for dogs to have fun, stay active, and tap into their natural instincts in a safe and controlled environment.
Not sure Play Days are for you and your dog? Come check us out. We always welcome spectators and can answer any questions you have!
